What have we done today?
A lazy morning of pjs and pj mask.
Followed by some home-schooling.

I have to say, Freya has really enjoyed the home-schooling today.
We had fun with some arts and crafts, well… if I am completely honest the kids had fun, me on the other had did not.

We decided that doing, hand and foot print painting would be a fun time with 4 kids, inside the house.

Sam and I both spent our time saying ‘aahh, wait there’, ‘hang on’ ‘ahh, stop moving’, ‘don’t put your hands on the walls’ 😂😂
We did try and theme the painting to easter, but I have a feeling that we may have only managed a couple of carrot feet 🥕😂😂.
Then we decided to have a bit of a slower activity using stickers and Easter designs.

All the kids have said that they want to give them to their isolating grandparents, when we can come out of lockdown.
And then to end the day, we started to put together the kids play house.

What a brilliant time to finish the play house.
The kids have had a whale of a time putting the kitchen together.
We got this kitchen from a nursery that was closing down.
And the amazing thing is, we had it in the loft for over a year.
Maybe 2 years, so this was a brand new kitchen in the kids eyes.
They had forgotten all about it.
I would highly recommend, removing some of the kids toys and rotating them.
This seems to have been a really fun day for the kids.
Freya has said this is the best day ever at least 5 times.
This is where I feel like I am winning as a mum.
We had a door step delivery from our auntie, of a homemade cottage pie, so I didn’t even have to cook. I think I may agree with Freya, BEST DAY EVER😂.
And finally for the first time ever, I have managed to get Nate to fall asleep without boob.
I will update on that situation tomorrow.
I have told him that boob is all finished.
And that mummy has sore boobies and to prove it, I have placed plasters over my nipples. 😂
Yes you have heard right.
He seemed to understand better once he had seen it.
His little face nearly broke me though, we had a little whimper just before tea.
But then he just got down off my lap and continued to play.
I offered him milk in a cup before bed.
He only drank half and was happy to be rocked to sleep.
Wish me luck for through the night.
