Ava’s birthday,
So, What can we say about little Ava? She graced our presence, on Mother’s Day four years ago.

Maybe I will upload a birth story for you all, if you would like to hear it.
This is Ava’s second lockdown birthday, and to make it even worse, poor Ava has had to do her 2nd lockdown birthday in isolation.

We are currently isolating because of a positive contact to covid, for one family member, and I know we don’t all need to isolate but we decided to do it just to be on the safe side.
With that in mind we kept thinking, how do we make it better for her.
I think the main thing that we have managed to achieve, is decorate the house, we put up some beautiful banners, and as Ava is a huge PJ mask fan, we created a PJ mask backdrop, to get some beautiful photos.

We decorated the house with balloons, even though, I absolutely hate them.
always find that balloons make children fight, either they want one that the other has, or they are just play fighting with them, either way it just frustrates me.
so, the house is decorated, we baked a cake and some brownies that are already gone.
Mostly from me, oops… we have spent most of the morning playing with Ava’s presents.
I mean fighting over them… but hey they all want a go with everything.
They are currently sat at the dinner table painting, with Ava’s new paints.
we have already had a bubble party and we have listened to music.
I am just looking at the carnage of the day all over the floor. And it is not even 1pm.
For tea, this evening Ava’s asked for McDonald’s, this would have been easy if it was not for the fact that we are in isolation, and where we live, we cannot get a McDonalds delivery.
So, I have had to rely on family members to do a doorstep delivery for us.
Whenever it is a child’s birthday, we always feel quite sentimental. So, with it being Ava’s 4th birthday let us talk about the things we love most about Ava.
To make this fun I am going to ask the kids.
Ellie’s answer.
She has been the best sister because she is so kind,
Freya’s answer.
When it is her birthday like today, she shares all her stuff.
Nate’s answer. (age2)
Dinosaur. Me digging a hole ava digging a hole in the mud.
The four things I love best about Ava.
1
she is so caring and kind, she loves to mother everyone. This can be a problem when she is trying to do my job, but she never means it in a mean way.
2
she has the best dance moves; she has got the greatest dance moves, she can shake those hips.
3
her sensitive side, she is a very sensitive soul. She does not like anything scary; you put a spider near her, she will run a mile, she won’t even look at a picture of a dinosaur.
4
she is so bright. She has such an amazing concept of life.
just yesterday she decided to explain to me why the earth is round… yes she did 😂.
she was explaining to me how spacemen need to see the earth, so that they know where they are going.
I mean, I don’t think she knew what she was meaning, but it was such a mesmerizing story.
OK.. So it’s now 9pm, the kids are asleep.
Sam and I are shattered…
Ava has had a brilliant day and was asleep within minutes.
I am so glad that we don’t have to do this again to June😂😂.
